World Parkinson's Disease DayParkinson's disease is the second most common degenerative disease of the central nervous system in the world.
In most cases, it is initially manifested by a slight tremor in a hand, arm or leg. Gait difficulties and postural instability make the disease very disabling. Although there is still no cure, there are therapies that can minimize the symptoms, helping to maintain the patient's independence and quality of life.
